| لأول مرة يتم إثبات وجود
الخرشنة السوداء Black Tern,
Chlidonias niger
مع تصويرها في الكويت بعدما كان وجودها مشكوك فيه وذلك من قبل صاحب
الموقع. فقد كان وضع الطائر لعدة سنوات مضت في خانة الطيور التي تحتاج
إلى إثبات لتأكيد وجودها في الكويت وإن كان كتاب طيور البالاركتيك
الغربي يذكرها تواجدها في الكويت لكن من دون ذكر مصدر وزمن ذلك الرصد. الصور
التالية للخرشنة السوداء صورت بتاريخ 11/06/2005 في منطقة مصب المياه
المعالجة شرق الجهراء.
The Black Tern was listed in at least the last four annual reports
of BMAPT as requiring confirmation although it was reported by BWP
(Cramp et al. 1985) as accidental but without referenced
source.
The following is the first confirmed
record of the Black Tern in Kuwait, it was photographed at Jahra
East Outfall on 11/06/2005
The photographs below are for the third record of
the Black Tern which involved two birds foraging over Jahra East
Outfall on 8 August 2007 the birds were found and photographed
by A. Al-Sirhan.
The first photograph shows the two birds
together, the flying bird and the one on ground extreme right.
